"It's the end of another year and so many thoughts go
swirling through our minds. For many, it has been a
difficult year - job loss, loss of friends, loss of a home,
loss of health, and possibly one of the most lasting
losses of all - the loss of a child. For some there will
be no celebration at the end of the year - only a lot
of tears for those dreams that were stolen away so
unexpectedly.
How does a person move on? How can a person move
into the New Year with joy when so much sorrow
surrounds the heart? It's not easy, but it helps to
remind yourself often that you are never, ever alone in
your pain. There are times when we feel alone, but the
truth is that we are surrounded by hope and it is there
for us whenever we call out for help.
Look at nature in any season and be reminded of the
One who is in charge. Look at the majesty of the
starry sky at night and know that you are counted among
the stars. Listen to the sounds of the wind rustling through
the trees and hear the whisper of God letting you know He
is by your side. Look for the rainbow painting the sky
and be assured that you have not been forgotten. Remind
yourself often that hope is stronger than your pain! "-C. Hinton

Holding you close in thoughts and prayers as we remember your Precious Angel Sean on hisheavenly anniversary. Pray the day goes peacefully for you and you receive many signs from your angel. A candle will burn in memory of your angel. I also have lost a son Michael forever 39 my first born.

I came to this site for the first time tonight. It is wonderful. The words that are written are so meaningful. I could feel your love for him.I too lost my oldest son, he was 21. He will be 24 on Dec. 22nd in Heaven. Not the place we want our sons to be. I guess we will never inderstand why we were chosen to go through this. All the hopes, dreams, plans they had and as they were growing up we as their parents had envisioned all kinds of things for them. I have 2 other sons, but its not the same, they can't fill their brothers shoes. We will always watch for that door to open and see them standing there, I guess we will see that when we get to heaven. I wish you some Peace and comfort today. Maybe our boys have met up there and are watching down on us...We can only hope. anthonysurvilla.memory-of.com
